Anonymous asked: There once was a Banshee named Wraithe. A lot of people were scared of her because of the markings on her body, and others because they could tell she was powerful. But all she wanted was a friend. And then one day, she found that friend! He was nice to her, and protected her in her innocence when people tried to take advantage of her. But one day, that friend died. Wraithe was heart broken. Wandering around, alone, she froze in shock when a familiar shadow cast itself upon her.
(( Why must you torment me so, Anon? I want to know who you are! Though I can only think of a few people who know Wraithe’s story. ))
Wraithe spun to face the individual, her heart constricting within her chest despite the fact that it had lay dormant for decades. Her ice-blue eyes flared with the hope that her long search would finally be over. She would keep her promise, to serve him until the day he died, and spend the remainder of the 5,000 years attempting to resurrect him. What had begun as a miscommunication, the pact between them gave her the motivation she needed to keep searching. Although Wraithe knew that, even without her promise, she would have gone to the ends of the world and back again just to see him smile.

Saying I procrastinate is an understatement.
It is possible I might get extra credit in my current Drawing II class for updating an art blog, so here goes! This is more of a reminder for me of the projects I need to complete by the end of the semester.
- Colored Pencil Abstract
- Soft Pastel Old Master
- Soft Pastel Final
- Oil Pastel Abstract
Mixed Media #2- Final Piece 1
- Final Piece 2
And only 2 weeks to do it. D’=
Will update when I complete something to give myself a sense of accomplishment.
A commission for Makatielle, a member of my World of Warcraft guild.
Her half-demon character who thinks flowers and snails are tasty. =3
Crappy photo taken of my colored pencil assignment for Drawing II. Probably spent 8-10 hours on it already but that’s because I’m dissatisfied with everything I do. Close to the halfway mark now, I’ll post again when it’s finished.
Updated version of the Dragon’s Refuge logo I designed. Was commissioned by a local hobby/gaming shop to draw this for them, and it’s going to appear on their window, dice, and t-shirts. Pretty hyped!
Realization
A few weeks ago I submitted 3 of my traditional works to an art show at a college I was hoping to attend. The show is small, and although there were only about 200 entries I still wasn’t accepted. It’s a little depressing but I guess that shows just how far I need to go to achieve the skill level my peers are already at.

You know you’re a gamer when you sit down at the library computer and your fingers automatically settle on the W, S, A, D keys. >.>
Was supposed to work today but my boss gave my shift to a coworker so I’m just sitting in the Cafe reading material for my Western Civ class. Made myself a Hazelnut latte and took a blueberry muffin for my troubles. =P
My favorite piece from my Figure Drawing class last semester. Done in charcoal, EST 10 hours.
A pastel project I did for my Drawing I course. Started it over a year ago but just recently finished it for an art exhibition.
Doodle assignment from my Drawing II course. My favorite aspect of this piece has to be the wash, I actually brewed some coffee and painted with it. The paper smelled heavenly before I went over it with oil pastel.
Waiting in the barber shop as Adam gets a haircut. This is how I imagine his hair turning out. :3
On my way to class, stopped by Starbucks for a Chai Latte. Don’t really like Tazo products but it was still good, probably because I was really specific with my order. 16oz. Chai Latte with 3/4 Tea and 1/4 milk, 3 pumps vanilla syrup, steamed to 165 degrees. Can you tell I work at a Cafe? Haha…
Anyways this gave me an idea for my next art assignment. We’re supposed to focus on a theme in drawning II this semester, and mine is (no surprise) coffee.
